Professor Philip Corr – Founder & Executive Chairman

Philip is Professor of Psychology (Behavioural Economics) at City, University of London, where he set-up the first MSc in Behavioural Economics in London and one of the first in the UK. Philip is a Chartered Psychologist (C.Psychol.) of the British Psychological Society (BPS; Associate Fellow), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Chartered Scientist of the Science Council (CSci), as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). In addition to writing over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles, Philip is the author of a number of books on biological and differential psychology, and also one on behavioural economics –  Corr, P. J. & Plagnol, A. (2018). Behavioural Economics: The Basics. London: Routledge. Professor Adrian Furnham – Applied Psychologist

Adrian Furnham was Professor of Psychology at University College London from 1992-2018 and he is now Professor of Management at the Norwegian School of Management. He was educated at the London School of Economics where he obtained a distinction in an MSc Econ., and at Oxford University where he completed a doctorate (D.Phil) in 1981. Then he earned D.Sc (1991) and D.Litt (1995) degrees. Previously Adrian was a lecturer in Psychology at Pembroke College, Oxford University. Adrian has presented widely abroad and held visiting professorships at international universities and has consulted to many international companies. Adrian has written over 700 scientific papers and nearing 100 books on economic psychology, money, management and organisational behaviour. Since 2007, he has been nominated by HR magazine as one of the 20 Most Influential People in HR.

Dr Stian Reimers - Behavioural Scientist

Stian is a senior lecturer in the Psychology Department at City, University of London, and teaches on the MSc Behavioural Economics programme. He has over fifteen years’ experience of research on financial decision making, within academia and working with commercial clients. He has worked on projects in financial services and FMCG sectors, generally focused around consumer behaviour and preference, and has also led research projects for government agencies. His main academic areas of interest are in how consumers represent financial information, and particularly how we represent risk and delay in our decision making.

Dr Anke Plagnol – Behavioural Economics Advisor

Anke is a Lecturer in Psychology (Behavioural Economics), City, University of London. An economist by training – by inclination her work is informed also by psychology and sociology – Anke is a leader in the field of subjective well-being, female labour force participation, and life-course studies. Anke is the current Programme Director of the MSc in Behavioural Economics, at City. Previously, Anke worked at Cambridge University where she was a Research Fellow at Darwin College. Her doctoral supervisor, Professor Richard Easterlin (University of Southern California, USA) virtually invented the field of subjective well-being – he is well-known for the Easterlin paradox (cross-sectionally wealthier countries are happier than poorer ones, but as countries get wealthier happiness does not increase).

Margaret Wilson - Operations Manager

Most of Margaret’s career has been in financial management in the private and higher education sectors. She has managed multi-million pounds budgets and complex projects. Margaret has also set-up several business of her own and is current Director of several companies where she has honed her operational management talents. Margaret brings to Behavioural Fusion a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills honed at the coal-face of the commercial reality.
